After much preparation Christmas Eve was upon us. We had some friends The Menzie's, Liz Tarpein, and Nita Kirchman, over to celebrate. Doug cooked an amazing Prime Rib and a Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake.
Also on the menu, but not pictured, was a salad, Cream of Roasted Red Pepper soup, Spinach bites, Lamb, Chicken, Mashed potatoes, and Carrots. Matt cooked all his meat and Vegetables by "Sous Vide" (look it up) Everything was delish!!!!!!!!!!!! And much fancier than the food we usually eat.
We also had at Triple Chocolat Mousse Cake (made by Doug)
and Vanilla and Rocky Road ice Cream (made by Matt)
We acted out our traditional nativity story.
And then just like that, it was over and it was time to tuck them all into bed. They all slept upstairs on the floor in a row. I'm sad I don't have pictures of the sleeping arrangement.
And then it was Christmas.
