Braces and Talent


This week Max got braces on his 2 front teeth. It is an effort to bring them together so that there is room for his incisors to descend. The baby ones fell out months ago and the permanent ones are stuck up on the roots of the others. As usual, Max was a champ at the dentist. He did not flinch at all when he got his shot or when he had his skin cut. His teeth were pulled together by the next morning. He will wear the braces for about six months.

Luke has learned to turn the water on by himself and wash his hands with soap. He does this repeatedly until we pull him away and then he throws a big crying fit. He also likes to use his toothbrush to get water from the sink.

This past week Meredith performed in her school talent show. She and 3 of her friends sang the song Fireflies by Owl City. They practiced singing on their own and came up with their own choreography. Enjoy the video.
