A couple of weeks ago, when our computer was down, we bought a new bed. (we actually purchased it before but it arrived the week the computer crashed.) Anyhow, we've been promising a picture of it. I have to say that it is nice to finally have a bed frame after 10 years of marriage. It makes things look a little more finished, wouldn't you say? I guess night stands are next. (we may get to them in another 10 years).
We also added a bunch of shelves to our closet that same week but I'm waiting 'til we get the baskets on order so I can take a picture of that finished project.
Here's a little movie of Luke. The lighting was poor, so it's low quality, but cute.
Oh also, Mer and I sang a duet in church today. We sang "A Child's prayer" from the primary songbook. It's one of those songs where she sang a verse by herself then I sang a verse and then we both sand them at the same time. She did a great job and held her own with seemingly no nervousness.

Nice bed! Love the style - it looks like something even Jesse and I could agree on. And hey, here's to hoping that in 2 more years, when we hit our 10th anniversary, maybe we'll get a bed frame, too!
Cute video of Luke! He's really cruising along now. I love how he took those two toys with him the whole way. :)
Congrats to Meredith. She sure is a brave girl! I think I definitely would have been nervous, in her shoes. I bet you two sounded gorgeous.
The bed looks great. One day, we'll have a headboard also. We do have the nightstands though! You and Meredith did a great job on your song. I meant to tell you that, but I never got a chance. Luke is such a cutie.
Thanks for visiting our blog! Loved hearing from you, and I enjoying viewing yours as well! The bed is beautiful - we were married 9 yrs before a real bed! magic numbers! Still love your quilt :). Can't wait to see you Tuesday Book Club!
I love the bed Sarah! Way to go Luke! That is so cool. Hopefully his cousin George can learn a thing or two from watching him crawl.
Mer sounded so beautiful on the phone. She sang to Grace and me, and Grace beamed the entire way through it. She loved hearing Mer sing! You should have Mer sing for you while you record her and then post it to your blog. I know Grace would say, "More Mer. More Mer. More Mer."
