Carry On

Thomas is 5 weeks old today.
We received a fun surprise package in the mail last week. It had a little taggie blanket in it made by YaYa. He uses it to stay warm on his many trips in the car driving kids to school. It is so so cute!! I love it. Thank you YaYa!
Also I think it's so cute the way max always puts his finger in Thomas's tiny hand so he can give it a squeeze.

We are trying to get back into normal life around here which means Thomas is accompanying me on a few more outings. Last week Jack had an award ceremony at school. He really wanted me to bring Thomas to show his class. He's so proud of his baby brother. The class was very good about looking and not touching him. It was fun to watch them ooh and ahh at his tiny feet and hands.
Thomas had his 4 week check up. He weighed 7lbs 11 oz.  All that eating is paying off. He has also started to smile though we haven't captured it yet.
I cut off one of Doug's old tshirts to make a stretchy sling. It helps me get a few things done around the house when he just wants to be held.
we took Thomas to church for the first time on Sunday. The kids were so excited to dress him. They scoured his basket of clothes for anything that looked Sunday-ish. They all dressed him together and put his little jacket on. Tomorrow we will bless him.

Thomas helps me tuck the kids in at night and the boys like it when he lays by them and gives them kisses.

And that's it for now. Over and out!
