No more Swimming Privileges

I just found out yesterday that the house across the street has sold. Which means no more swimming privileges after the 27th.  We will be sad not to be able to use it this summer. We will try to get as much swimming in before then.  Mer has been doing well without her boot.

In fact, the day she found out that she could take it off, we came home and went swimming right away.

Then the kids spent the rest of the evening doing side walk chalk and playing in the yard. It was such a lovely evening of togetherness that I had to snap a shot.

We found that radishes growing among the weeds in the front yard too.  Jack and I had been planting some seeds in cupa a while ago and they spilled.  It was a nice little surprise.

Last week Mer and I did two theme parks in two days.  First we went to Universal Islands of Adventure for her 6th grade field trip.  Chaperoning a bunch of girls was fun and interesting.  We had fun and she really does have some great friends.

Then as a family we went to Legoland.  We hooked up with a homeschool group and got a serious discount.

I'll save the Legoland recap for another post.  It is time to get the kids ready for school.
